Admire Michelangelo’s monumental masterpieces in the Sistine Chapel: the amazing ceiling with the “Creation” and dramatic “Judgement’s Day” above the altar wall. Enjoy the “Stories of Moses and Christ” by the great masters of 1400, Perugino, Pinturicchio, Botticelli, Ghirlandaio and Rosselli, magnificently decorating the side walls of the Sistine chapel contributing to its unique atmosphere. Visit St Peter’s Vatican basilica and see Michelangelo’s Pieta and Bernini’s spectacular baroque monuments. At the end of your tour see spectacular St Peter’s Square, overlooked by Michelangelo’s imposing dome and embraced by Bernini’s 284 pillars elegant colonnade.
