The Piccolo Borgo Hotel is located in the midst of one of Europe’s largest open-air museums, consisting of the nearby Appian Way Park and Aquaducts Park, near the historical hamlet of Capannelle, in the heart of what Romans themselves called "Old Rome".

Today only a few traces remain of these ancient farmhouses, but the Roman countryside in these areas around the Via Appia Antica and the Via Latina still has a very special character.
The same chacter that can still be found today at the Piccolo Borgo Hotel.
