At what time can we check-in and out?
Check-in: any time - but rooms are usually not available until 1 PM. Luggage can be left in the hotel if necessary.
Check-out: by 10:30 AM

Can we store luggage in the hotel before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, you can!

Is parking for my car available?
There is a parking garage close to the hotel. They charge 15.00 euros per day.

Is the price of the room per guest or per room?
Prices quoted are per day, for the room (not per guest).

Can I smoke anywhere in the building?
No! Hotel Des Artistes is 100% non-smoking. All our guest rooms and common rooms are smoke-free. The only place where smoking is allowed is our lovely roof top terrace.

Is breakfast included in the room price?
Breakfast is included only for rooms with private bathroom.

What does breakfast consist of?
The breakfast served at Des Artistes is an Italian one: coffee, tea, or cappuccino, fruit juice, bread rolls, bread, butter and jam.

Are the rooms air conditioned?
The rooms with private bathroom have air conditioning on request. It is included in the room price in high season. In low and mid season, the surcharge for air conditioning is euro 15.00 a day per room. In winter time, heating is always included in the price for all room types.

What is the difference between the hotel and the hostel?
Hotel Des Artistes has rooms on five floors. The first, second, third and fourth floors have rooms with private bathroom. The fifth floor is dedicated to travellers on a budget, and rooms on that floor have shared bathrooms in the hallway. This part of the hotel, we call the hostel.

What is the difference between the annexe and the main building?
The annexe is located at 10 metres from the main building. The rooms there are located on the second floor, without elevator. The annexe only has double or single occupancy rooms. The standard of the rooms are just the same as in the main building, but the annexe rooms cost less because they are located in another building.

Are there romantic rooms?
Yes, all our rooms are tastefully decorated and are suitable for romantic getaways.

What amenities do the rooms have?
Our rooms have direct dial telephone, satellite tv, hair dryer, modem jack, electronic safe.

Spanish steps

How far are you from the train station and major sites?
We are located at 5 minutes on foot to the north of Termini station. The Spanish Steps, for example, would be 20 minutes on foot or 5 by subway.

Where can I rent a car or scooter?
The nearest offices are at Termini station.
