Termini Railway Station

Termini Station is the city main station and the largest in Italy. Is the only situated in the center of Rome and most of the trains to the capital stop in this station. 

The station has a large shopping mall and is the only junction between the two main metro lines of the city (lines A and B). 

It is also the departure and arrival station of the Leonardo Express train, which connects Fiumicino Airport to the City (binary 24). There is also a shuttle bus service to the airport of Ciampino.

Termini Station is an important hub for Italo and Trenitalia high-speed trains which connects the major Italian cities.  Travelling from Rome to Milan non-stop it takes 3 hours only!

Despite being much frequented daytime, it is preferable to pay attention during the night hours due occasional safety issues.

Tiburtina Station

Tiburtina Station is the second station of the city situated along the Florence - Naples trainline. 

Recently renewed it represents an excellent contemporary railway architecture and one of the largest Italian urban work, with the perspective of becoming the largest Italian high-speed train junction.

The station offers a wide food & beverage and shopping area with modern locations dedicated to cultural and special events.

Adjacent to the railway station is located the Autostazione Tibus, the biggest bus station of the city with numerous proposals for traveling both within the city or to other Italian cities.

The station and can be reached through the underground line B (Tiburtina).

Other Stations

Rome has other train stations which connect the urban network to the regional towns as: Ostiense Station, Trastevere Station and Porta San Paolo station which connects the city to the town of Ostia, Fiumicino Airport and the capital beaches.
