Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

The Leonardo da Vinci Airport at Fiumicino is the largest intercontinental italian airport at about 30 km from the city center of Rome. 

It is served by 105 airlines operating through three terminals (T1, T3 and T5) reserved for domestic, international and intercontinental flights.

The airport is well connected to the city by the public service and private transport. In addition to the taxi that offer the journey to the fixed fee of about 50 € is available the Leonardo Express, a direct train which connects the airport to the Central Termini Station in 30 minutes, from 06.23 to 23.23 at the cost of 14 € (www.trenitalia.com).

Departures every 15 minutes

Bus transfers are also available (Cotral, Terravision and Sit Bus Shuttle) departing in front of the arrivals area of the Terminal 1. Considering travel time and cost the Leonardo Express represents the suggested choice.

The airport has also a 4 stars hotel, the Hilton Rome Airport, directly connected to the arrivals terminal.

Roma Ciampino (CIA) airport

The International Airport of Rome-Ciampino "G.B. Pastine" is located in the south-east of Rome, close to the ring road Grande Raccordo Anulare and distant approximately 10 km from the center of Rome.

Ciampino airport is an international airport that serves the majority of traffic coming from the Low Cost airlines including Ryanair toward the main European cities.

The airport is well connected to the city by public and private transport. 

In addition to the taxi that offer the journey to the fixed fee of about 30 €, transfers are also available in private bus (Terravision) or the Atac public bus n° 520 that runs every 20 minutes from the airport to the subway line A Cinecittà station at the cost of 1.50 € (9 stops). 

The ticket provides a travel period of 100 minutes and allows you to continue the journey toward the center of Rome by underground.
