TARANTO: first step is Taranto, a easy reachble town with all means of transport, founded in VII century b.c. The old town keeps an island connected to the modern city by a bridge. The "Museo nazionale"evokes to the Magna Grecia's history; it holds sculptures, architectonic frames objects coming from tombs, and wonderful ceramics. Is possible to admire vases in Corinthian and Apulo style; the gold rooms holds wonderful jewels found in tombs coming from the whole region(ellenistic style).
